FabFitFun VIP Box: Winter Edition
I'm a little behind on my blogging. Mostly because it's almost Christmas so things are just really busy, but also because I got all my subscription boxes in one week this month. I even ordered an extra. My hope was that there would be a few things in them that would make good Christmas gifts!
This is the winter box for FabFitFun:
FabFitFun VIP Box
What: This is a seasonal box filled with products hand picked by Guiliana Rancic and the FabFitFun team. You get at least $100 worth of the top full-sized Beauty, Fitness, Fashion and Wellness finds.
How much: $49.99 a season
Give and take: Use "EARLY5" for $5 off. Click here for my referral link.
The Giving Keys Never Ending Necklace (Retail: $55) - This was one of the 'spoilers' that they released prior to sending the boxes out. I've already really liked keys and I liked the idea behind this. The card says you are supposed to give the key away to someone when they need it more than you, then you go blog your story on their website (thegivingkeys.com). As a side note, on the bottom of the card it says they employ those transitioning out of homelessness. This would definitely have made a great gifts....if I didn't want it for myself so much. I like this so I'm hanging onto it for now.
Beauty For Real Lip Gloss (Retail $22) - I don't know where this stuff was in my younger, club-going, days, but it's a cute idea. This lip gloss has the dip-in style applicator. The applicator has a button and will light up. The tube of gloss has a mirror on it. Brilliant. I got the color "Light My Fire" which is a red, not too bold, but still a lot of color. I liked this color on, and I'll probably wear it tonight to David's Christmas party.
Lorna Jane Bracelet (Retail $29.99) - Looking at the pictures I thought this was rope. I like that's pink (of course) but it's actually rubber. I don't really care for this, and I don't know who I would gift it to. If you like it, let me know, it's yours!
Bioxideo Miracle 24 (Retail $19) - I haven't used this yet but it says "This nutrient-infused cutting edge face mask smooths skin and reduces signs of premature aging. Advanced peptides reduce fine lines and wrinkles while arginine increases firmness and elasticity." I'll use this. :)
TruEnergy Inspired Earbuds (Retail $39.99) - These are cute. I was hoping for the pink ones but I got the blue ones. I thought about giving them to David but I don't know how much he'll use them. I might just throw them in my gym bag.
Physique 57 Classes (Retail $25) - Five free online classes. I haven't taken an online work out class so this should be fun, and so convenient!
Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream (Retail $45) - This his vitamin K, anti-aging peptides, cotton powder, and Icelandic kelp. I tried this last night and it goes on so smooth!
MeUndies Gift Card (Retail $20) - I've heard good things about this brand, and this gift card isn't a "Spent $50, Get $25" type either. I might have to order something!
Bonus Items These are drugstore items that they consider all-time favs.
Simple Foaming Facial Cleaner (Retail $7.49) - My skin doesn't like when I switch things up, so I probably won't try this. If anyone wants it, it's yours!
NYX Eye Shadow Palette (Retail $8) - These colors aren't bad. It's hard to sway me from my Urban Decay Naked Palettes but I will probably use these colors.
All in all, the retail value of this box was $271.47. With that being said, I did technically cancel my subscription after this box. I may end up buying a box here and there if there is a good spoiler of something that I want, but I really just don't need one of these every season. I didn't really feel like I could gift many of the things in this box, and some of it I don't see myself using. I'll still keep an eye on this box, who knows, maybe I'll see something I like next Spring!
