This post is a bit delayed. Things have been a little crazy lately. When I got my email that my next Fix was on the way and I hadn't even blogged about this one yet, I figured I needed to get on it! If you don't know what StitchFix is, read my original post here and don't forget, if this sounds like something you would enjoy/need, be sure to use my referral link so I get credit. Who doesn't need credit towards new clothes?!
This months fix was by the same stylist as last month, Laura. She picked out some great things, but I only kept one. As an added bonus this month, you get to see me with no make up and a mild hangover. My photographer (David) took these for me the day after Junior League's Charity Ball, so I'm looking pretty rough in these pictures! Sorry!
1) Papermoon - Arynn Tie-Back Chevron Print Tank ($44)
2) 19 Cooper - Cathleen Split-Neck Tulip-Sleeve Blouse ($68)
I really like this shirt....until David told me it looked like a fancy scrub top. Since I work in the hospital, fancy scrubs are out. I think if it was a coral color I would have definitely kept it, but I don't want to look like I'm getting ready to head into surgery! I returned this one!
3) Miilla Sandrine Tiered Sleeveless Blouse ($48)
4) Kut From The Kloth - Jenna Bermuda Short ($68)
The top wasn't that bad, but it wasn't anything great. I can't wear it to work, and I don't have a blazer that would look good with it (my blazer is black and this is navy). I don't see it being something I would grab to go out with friends so I wasn't sure I wouldd wear it much. I returned it.
The shorts? If there were REAL shorts, instead of Bermuda shorts, I would have kept them, because I liked the color. Really, they almost looked like capri's on me because I'm so short. Whatever they were, they looked bad on me. Sometimes I can tell when the stylist has gotten ideas from my Pinterest, but I have like 30 pairs of shorts on my Pinterest and NONE of them are Bermuda shorts. These went back!
5) Papermoon - Remmie Multi-Color Chevron Print Maxi Skirt
So, this skirt was huge. In length and width. The reason I have my hand on my hip is because I'm holding the skirt up. The second picture demonstrates that I could wear this as a dress, and even though my photographer didn't get this in the picture, it was still bunched up on the floor. DEFINITELY went back.
This wasn't my favorite fix, but I loooove the tank that I kept. I really hoping for better luck in my fix this week! I'll let you know!
I don't know what your problem is with that last skirt/dress/tent. With that many functions, I think you should have kept it. I'd also like to offer that you could use it as a hammock if you added some rope to each end. Just want you to get your money's worth! ;)
