Frosty VoxBox

Influenster recently sent me a new collection of items to review in their "Frosty VoxBox."  These items were sent to me free to test and review, and now I'm passing my thoughts on the products on to you!  There were some great items in this box that are perfect for the holidays!

No7 Protect & Perfect ADVANCED Sachet
This serum went on great and was so smooth! It says it reduces the appearance of fine lines for younger looking skin in just two weeks.  Unfortunately, we didn't get enough to try for two weeks, but I still really liked this product! It says the full sized product runs $22.99 and there is an Intense version that it says is even more effective that runs $29.99.  I think they'd be worth checking out.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum
I can't say I have any NYC lipsticks.  I rarely wear lipstick but when I do, my standby is Mary Kay Berry Kiss.  NYC Expert Last Lip Color only costs $1.99 and I'm assuming it can be found at Wal-mart or CVS or other drug stores.  This new line comes in 20 different shades and claims to last up to 6 hours.  I will say this is very moisturizing and goes on very smooth.  The color stayed on for awhile, although, I don't know that it lasted 6 hours.  Typically, when you get a certain shade sent for review, chances are slim it's a color that will actually look good on you, but this Sugar Plum is amazing! I've been wearing it since I received it.  I might even buy more when it runs out.  For $1.99, it's definitely worth it!

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea
I'm definitely more of a coffee drinker than a tea drinker.  Overall this tea was "okay."  I feel like the peppermint flavor overpowered the green tea flavor (which I like).  Because it was decaf, it was nice to sip before bed, because I definitely don't see myself as a morning tea drinker.  I got a coupon in addition to the tea, and I'll probably use it! It'll probably last me awhile since I don't drink much tea, but I'll eventually use it!

EcoTools Hair Brush
I really, really love this hair brush.  It has replaced my old one for sure!  This brand has five brush head shapes and bristle designs to suit different hair cuts, textures and lengths.  I will say the bristles are spread far enough apart on mine that I can use it on wet hair without feeling like I'm breaking all my hair.  I'm glad they sent me this!

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
Alright, I'm being honest, I didn't like this product.  I used it with a cotton ball and it barely got any eye make up off.  I had to follow up with my normal Neutrogena eye make up remover.  It says it's designed to remove long-lasting and waterproof make up with no oily residue.  There wasn't any residue, but it certainly didn't remove much, if any, of my make up.  Not worth $7.49. Sorry Rimmel!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner
Rimmel redeemed themselves with this eyeliner.  I typically use brown-black eyeliner and this is pretty black so I've mainly been using it on weekends or evenings.  It goes on smooth and stays on.  No complaints with the eye liner! I would buy it again, especially since it's only $4.49!

McCormick Gourmet Thyme
Spices! I've never gotten a spice sent for review before! I like this!  I used McCormick Thyme with some Rosemary on chicken breasts along with some salt and pepper and roasted it in the oven.  The flavor was great and tasted fresh!  Easy recipe with great results!

Fruit Vines Bites
These remind me a little but of gushers, but without the juicy center.  They come in 2 flavors - strawberry and cherry.  They are low fat and made with no preservatives. They can be found at Walmart in the West, Kroger, Walgreens, Target, Safeway, and Rite Aid.  These would make a great snack to have in your desk drawer at work or to throw in a work bag.  I'm more of a chocolate girl, so they aren't really my thing, but they tasted great.  I shared with my coworkers who also liked them.

Overall I LOVED this VoxBox.  So many things I'll use and keep using!  Each of these items has a corresponding hashtag if you want to see what other people though of the products! If you want to check out Influenster and review products, let me know and I'll send you an invitation!
